They are here!

Vika and Max arrived yesterday. We weren't able to get to the airport to pick them up when they flew in Friday night but some great host friends picked them up and brought them to our house for us - THANK YOU!

One More Starfish....

One day an old man was walking down the beach at dawn. In the distance he saw a young boy picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, " What are you doing ? "
The boy replied, " throwing them back into the ocean. The tide is out and they will die if they are left here." " Son ", the old man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can't make a difference. " The boy bent and threw another one back into the surf. Then, he smiled at the man and said, " made a difference to that one!"
